This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application available on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, as well as the related country-specific websites (e.g. wemgehort.de, ukjentnummer.co.no, xtelefono.es, numarasorgula.com and others operated by us). It also describes the choices and rights you have regarding that data.
The App is designed to collect as little personal information as possible. The data we process is summarised in the table below and detailed in this section.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We do not use third-party advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs that transmit personal identifiers off-device.
We may share information only in the following limited cases:
We retain submitted comments and ratings indefinitely, because they form a community database that protects other users from scam calls. You can request immediate deletion of your own submissions at any time (see section 10). Aggregated daily statistics are retained for analytics and never linked to a person.
We implement industry-standard security measures (HTTPS in transit, server-side access control, regular database backups). However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We provide a self-service deletion page that wipes all comments and ratings associated with your Device ID immediately, without manual review: https://unknownscam.com/data-deletion. You can also delete individual comments inside the app via the trash icon next to your comment.
If you cannot locate your Device ID or need a different kind of request, you can also e-mail us at support@unknownscam.com and we will process your request within 30 days.
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent local minimum age). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
Our servers are hosted in the European Union. If you access the App from outside the EU, your data may be transferred to and processed there. We apply appropriate safeguards under GDPR Chapter V where applicable.
The App and our websites may contain links to third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services. We encourage you to read their privacy policies separately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, by an in-app notice. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
